Together we lived and studied in Buenos Aires for more than two years, where we were able to immerse ourselves in the most varied styles and mindsets of tango. Tango Libre Budapest
Performers at numerous renowned Buenos Aires milongas, winners of the 2018 UK Tango Championship (Tango de Pista category), multiple-time European Championship finalists and World Championship semi-finalists, as well as gold medalists of the 2025 Hungarian Tango Cup.

Gábor Szőke
One of the most active dancers in Budapest’s tango community, Gábor is an up-and-coming, energetic DJ. With playful cortinas and carefully curated tandas, he aims to keep dancers on the floor.
Balázs Gyenis – Argentine Tango Radio
Founder of Argentine Tango Radio, widely known as Mr Argentine Tango Radio. He writes about tango music and DJing; in his Danceable Tangos of the Year series, he explores the world of tangos made for dancing.
Anita Békés
She recently spent several months in Buenos Aires, listening closely to the music and observing how dancers connect with it at milongas. As a DJ, she also draws on these first-hand experiences.

Gabriella Köbli (Gabri)
For Gabri, dance has been one of her greatest sources of joy for more than twenty years — in almost any quantity. She taught boogie-woogie for eight years, and from that experience she brings a short, lively taste tailored specifically for tango dancers.
In this class, we’ll get a taste of boogie’s free-spirited energy and playful world. No prior boogie knowledge is needed — just curiosity and a desire to move together.
