In addition:<br \/><strong>For men:<\/strong> Wear shoes with a smoother, more slippery sole at the front and without a raised edge. It is also helpful if the shoes do not have long toes, but end where your toes do.<br \/><strong>For women:<\/strong> The same guidelines apply as for men, and it is helpful to wear shoes with a slightly higher heel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u2019m coming with a partner \u2014 is it mandatory to switch partners?<\/strong><br \/>It is not mandatory, but it is recommended. In our experience, those who are open to dancing with others also find it easier to dance with their own partner. Our method is the following: there is partner rotation, but after every second rotation, you can return to your own partner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u2019m coming alone \u2014 will I have a dance partner?<\/strong><br \/>Both men and women often register individually, so it is easy to find a partner at the beginning.
